twenty one pilots have been my favorite band since I discovered them in late 2012. After seeing them open for Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco in 2013, I knew they were something special. Since then, I've made it a point to attend every show of theirs that came through a town close to me; so I've been to 10 twenty one pilots shows and counting. I have always been interested in photographing them because their stage presence is undeniably one of a kind and I was dying to get them in front of my camera. Finally, after three and a half years, that dream of mine came true. On a very emotional night, I trekked to Madison Square Garden to photograph my favorite band in the most famous arena in the world. On an ending note, I feel extremely honored to have been with these boys from a small 800 capacity club in Philly three years ago, to their largest show ever of 28,000 people in Hershey in June, to both sold out nights at Madison Square Garden this week. Check out my pics from the final night of the Emotional Roadshow below!
While these guys are talented in what they do, they never really caught my attention, they were nice to photograph though!
I was already a fan of these guys before the Emotional Roadshow and I had heard through the pipeline that they put on an amazing show and the rumors were definitely true. Mutemath is full of energy and a definite must see!
